Dr. Greenberg has over 20 years experience in the field of health care cost management. As the founder and CEO of About Health, Inc. (later merged with Concentra Preferred Systems / Viant), he was a pioneer in the out-of-network negotiation industry. His clients included CIGNA, Aetna, United Healthcare, Great-West Life, and various Blue Cross / Blue Shield plans. Dr. Greenberg is a skilled negotiator who has trained and supervised hundreds of health care claims negotiators around the country.
Dr. Greenberg served as President of Potomac Health Systems, a home infusion therapy company covering the mid-Atlantic region. As a consultant for Macro Systems, Inc., he managed projects involving health care cost containment, health statistics, and medical economics. In addition, Dr. Greenberg was Vice President & Medical Director of the nation’s first drug utilization review company where he was responsible for monitoring the drug use patterns of 15 million patients.
Dr. Greenberg is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School. He began his career as a family physician in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
John Bartos, J.D.

Mr. Bartos is a veteran in the field of healthcare and information technology. As President of DrFirst, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Prematics, Inc., Mr. Bartos has specialized in providing cost containment services to health insurers and various products and services to hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare providers. Previously, Mr. Bartos was an attorney at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, LLP (now K&L Gates) where his practice focused on litigation.
Mr. Bartos has serviced a wide range of for-profit and not-for-profit health insurers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Humana, Capital BlueCross, Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic Region, CareFirst, and BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts. He also serviced numerous hospitals and health systems, including Henry Ford Health System and MedStar Health, along with hundreds of physician practices.
Mr. Bartos is a graduate of Princeton University and received his J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Law Review.
Sonny Bloom, M.B.A.

Sonny Bloom has over 20 years experience in the field of health care cost management. He served as a Vice President with Concentra Preferred Systems / Viant for ten years and as COO of About Health, Inc. prior to its merger with Concentra / Viant. In both positions, he had lead responsibility for the development, implementation, and operation of Professional Negotiation Services provided to health insurance companies – achieving industry-leading results. This included the oversight of negotiations on more than $1 billion in out-of-network bills annually.
Previously, Mr. Bloom worked for several years as a senior management consultant to hospitals and physicians across the U.S. in the areas of cost containment, productivity improvement, and strategic planning. He also served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, assisting with their managed care initiatives.
Mr. Bloom holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University and a B.S.E. degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Michigan.
Richard Budson, M.D.
Executive Vice President
Dr. Budson has over 35 years experience as a health care reimbursement consultant, health care professional, hospital executive, and public policy planner. A common theme throughout his distinguished career has been his focus on the economics of health care. In the last ten years as Vice President of About Health and then Senior Consultant at Concentra Preferred Systems / Viant, he has negotiated out-of-network claims totaling $100 million annually, involving numerous national insurance companies, large self-insured employers, and hundreds of hospitals across the U.S.
Dr. Budson’s prior career was almost entirely spent at Harvard Medical School where he was Associate Professor as well as Assistant General Director for Clinical Services of a Division of the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Budson was a national leader and expert in the development of low-cost alternatives to hospital care. He was a consultant to four different Governors of Massachusetts.
Dr. Budson is a nationally-recognized consultant and educator. He was honored by the office of the President of the United States, was named in Who’s Who in the East, and appointed Adjunct Professor in Public Policy at Georgetown University.
Dr. Budson is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Medical School. He interned at Boston City Hospital and subsequently trained at Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals before joining its faculty.
